Octopus for Lunch!

Misc. Pics

Baseball started yesterday.

L drawing with his feet below. Prior to batting and catching practice, they did drills and B and L wanted to be partners.

Last year B hated baseball! He absolutely hated it! He didn't want to do it this year but I told him he couldn't do football in the fall if he didn't do it. (L wants to play soccer again in the fall). T-ball started yesterday and I was a little apprehensive given last year. Both boys did great! L was more of a watcher but participated and only had one little problem that I won't mention on this site but if you ask Andy in an email or on the phone, he'll tell you. They looked so cute in their uniforms! Cousins Annie, Jacob and Griffin were there too, Annie as a player and G and J as observers as their group met later in the day.

Playground pics

Here's some pics from the playground at B's school and from the k-8 playground.

Spring is here!

The circus came to town.

We went to the circus and it was just a bit too much for L. By the time we had met all of the charactors outside, bought toys inside and found our floor seats, he was a bit overstimulated. He wanted to swing his spinning light around and was mad when I told him to hold it still. He then hit the lady in the head in front of us so I took it away and told him he could have it back at the end. He still had his light up sword but didn't lose that. He instead glared at me for the entire circus and missed most of it. He would not watch it. B had a great time. I am afraid the lady in front of us will remember us for a long time. LOL. Here's some pics.

What happened to the pics?

Easter Dinner

I uploaded a bunch of photos but they didn't show up. Here's try two.

easter pics!

Several weeks before Easter, the kids each got an individualized letter from the Easter Bunny in the mail. The internet is an amazing thing! On Easter the kids woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had left them candy, Thomas the Train flashlights, Thomas water bottles and various small toys. For dinner we went to Andy's sister's house for dinner. They have a beautiful home and they set up an Easter egg hunt for the boys. They have a 9 year old and a 19 year old who is in college but was able to come home for Easter. We had a great time. One of the pics is of the boys in time out while there. Don't they look happy? We also dyed eggs but did it on a different day.
